Five years in, Leader Breeders has proven what can happen when belief meets consistency. But this is only the beginning. The next five years are about building on that foundation — turning impact into infrastructure and stories into systems that last.

Coach Tiny Adams describes the vision clearly. “The next five years are about sustainability,” she says. “We’ve shown what mentorship can do. Now it’s time to grow it — to make sure the next generation of leaders has the tools, spaces, and people they need to keep going.”

That vision includes a long-time dream — establishing a permanent youth development space for Leader Breeders. After years of operating across Baltimore’s recreation centers and schools, Coach Tiny is now actively searching for a building to call home. The goal is to create a space designed for growth, creativity, and belonging — where mentorship can live beyond the classroom and community can thrive daily. In the coming years, donations and partnerships will play a key role in making that dream a reality, helping to renovate and bring the space to life.

That growth also starts with the youth already in the program. Leader Breeders plans to deepen its mentorship model, connecting even more middle and high school students with college mentors and professional guides. The goal is for every student who receives mentorship to eventually lead someone else — creating a continuous cycle of leadership rooted in Baltimore.

Partnerships will play a major role in the next chapter. Coach Tiny envisions collaborations with local schools, trade programs, and universities that offer exposure beyond the classroom — from financial literacy and college tours to career pipelines and wellness support. “It’s about giving our kids choices,” she says. “They deserve to see how far they can go.”

And just as important, the next five years will focus on the people behind the mission — the mentors, volunteers, and community partners who make the work possible. Sustained funding will help Leader Breeders offer stipends, training, and development that keep mentors consistent and supported year-round.

The Power of 5 campaign celebrates how far the village has come, but it also marks a celebration of what’s next. The belief that started it all is now a blueprint — and the next five years are where it becomes legacy.

Your donation helps Leader Breeders expand mentorship, strengthen programs, and bring its dream youth development space to life — keeping Baltimore’s youth on a path toward leadership and purpose.
